I have always heard stories of things happening to people as random acts of kindness but have never experienced it as directly as I have thses last few weeks.
Few Weeks ago.
Tom and I loaned out our car until our friends could get thiers fixed. thats just what friends do. when the car was returned not only did it have a full tank of gas but a whole date for Tom and I planned and payed for! Wow!
Friday Night
Friday night I have WyleLife (middle School Young Life) that I help lead. On these nights I don't get to see the kids before they go to bed and usually end up waking them up just to say goodnight. but, this last friday I convieved to Tom to take the kids and I out for dinner so I could see them that evening. we were planning on going to pizza hut but I knew Tom would rather have mexican food so I changed plans last minute.
Dinner was really good and the kids were wonderful! the restrant placed us in the very back corner near the bathroom. As we were finishing up, a man with a white berd came by just to say hi. We did not know him but the kids liked him a lot. Nathan started calling him Grandpa. (made me embarraced) Realizing I now was going to be late for WyleLife we all throw our coats on and I asked for our bill. The waiter said it was taken care of. I didn't understand. but when I realized who paid for our food, we all ran to catch the man with the white berd.
Nick ran up to this man and gan his leg a hug and said "thank you for dinner" We spent some time chatting and enjoying eachothers company.
That night at WyldeLife I gave a talk. Feeling so blessed about what happened I spoke about Jesus and Hope.
Sunday Boxes
The pass was bad so we remained in Ellensburg for Church. The Pastor at the kittitas community church encouraged up to give thanks to the Lord and our blessing. Being thankful and blessed is somthing I feel all the time thanks to all my babies God has intrusted me with.
When we got home, after church we got home to find three boxes of food. lots of GOOD food. a turkey and everything. are you kidding me!! that is so amazing! A family I love thought it would be nice to take care of us this thanksgiving! how sweet!
The Lord is full of blessings and he works through so many people to show His Love.
Thank you to all my friends and family for loving us. there are so many of you that take such good care of us. with the kids to just coming to our house to hang out. I love you all and am so thankful for you this thanksgiving season!Be blessed
