Wow! It is amazing how fast kids grow! Today is September 28. Nick is 3, Nathan 21 months, Marchel 11 months and Hailey 10 months. One morning Nathan decided to speak… and he did in complete sentences; So much for his quite charm. He now has a lot to say ( = his first sentence was “I don’t know” this was the answer to a question asked by my mother. “Nathan, where is your mother?”
Nick… oh Nick-Nac. Nick is fully potty trained, and in the big kids room at school. He is developing a serious sense of humor. “mom! Something is stinky!” he said with a little smirk “ I think daddy pooped his pants” with a belly laugh he chuckled and chuckled. He knew he was pretty funny! Nicks sweet charming personality is deepening. He kisses ladies hands and tells them how beautiful they are. He always gets in bed with me and rubs my cheek saying “mommy, I love you. I am your boy” AWWWW! Melt my heart!
Marchel is very proud of her self. She is so close to walking it is scary. She is a good listener and very smart. She says mom dad and dog. Once in a while we will hear others words but not very often. She mostly is into crawling in super speed. She is a feisty little thing and full of energy. She hates holding still. She wants action, action and to keep up with her brothers. If she doesn’t get her way or told no… better watch out, it is fit city! We call her out little terror; as a joke of course. She is a little blessing and we love her. She sure is a QT! a big QT. she wears 18month old cloths and will pass her brothers in height in no time. We always laugh about the thought of the kids being older and Marchel being the tallest. She is going to wonder if she was adopted! Heheheh!
Hailey bug is a princess. She is totally a girly girl and I love it. She is sensitive, calm and a little snuggle bug. Sometimes in the middle of the night I wake her up and hold her. She just snuggles and stares at me. The only time she gets feisty is if you don’t feed her fast enough. She is a little brick. Short petite and dense. Marchel and her always get looks and questions like “are they twins…they don’t look alike.” I answer “ they are our twins” and I leave it at that. The dumb founded faces we get are hilarious! Hailey just started to crawl and talk. She says momma and dada! She has such a sweet spirit about her. I feel we are connected at the heart. She’s my little baby!
As for Tom and I. we are good. Tom has just started his last year at central and is going to start applying to seminary. Young life just started back, so we are busy with that. The salon is doing well but always has more room for growth. I started a middle school girls club called LLA. Girls can get together, fellowship and talk about girl stuff in a safe environment. Thanks to the article in the news papers, we met some awesome people who are planting a church in preston called I-90 community. Our family has been driving there every Sunday to help out. WoW! Talk about an amazing group of people!
Well that’s it for today. I will be writing shortly about our camping trip and adventures.
